Redeye is very consistent....plus smoked a modded ZL1

Just got back from the track. It was a very busy day for Toronto Motorsports park (Cayuga Dragway). It was jammed and the line ups were 45 min to over a hour. The track prep was not the greatest because of all the street tire cars and ricers tearing up the track. I only ended up getting 4 passes in but I can't believe how consistent the Redeye is. Just look at my first 3 passes. The track was horrible by the 4th pass.

The best part of the day was on my second pass a new ZL1 Camaro asked the car ahead of him if he could go in front to race me. The ZL1 had headers, exhaust, pulley, tune, intake slicks and skinnies. I had a stock Redeye with 17" Racestars with 305 ETRs. I had my skinnies in the trunk plus a jack and all my stuff plus myself at 295lbs. After the run all the Mopar guys were giving me the thumbs up and yelling. It was awesome. I did not use the skinnies on any passes. I have not used the skinnies yet. I am waiting to beat my PB before I bolt them on.

Thanks. I wish I had a video of the race with the ZL1. At this track the return road runs in front of the stands right beside going parallel to the left lane on your way back. All the Mopar fans in the stands were going crazy yelling Challenger it was awesome.

Thanks. I am ready when you guys are. I know if I am going consistent 10.5s at crappy Cayuga then at Napeirville 10.4s should be no problem, maybe if I am lucky 10.3s. We need to hurry up and get over there. I am trying to take the Redeye stock with rear tire plus the stock Redeye with rear tire and skinnies records.

Track prep or not, looks like you were still able to pull off some pretty good 60 ft's compared to the competition. Damn already end of season, never made it to Cayuga myself this year.

Car is super consistent at Napeirville I was doing 1.49 and 1.48s. In two weeks a bunch of us are heading to Napeirville for a track day and possibly a Monday track rental. You should come. Also I made a mistake Cayuga is still open it is Grand Bends last day sorry.

Thanks. I launch around 1200rpm then roll into the throttle.

Just think Mark you almost got your previous PB at cayuga which is terrible on a good day . Not to hijack your thread but I spoke to moparjim today. It's on for October 13 for sure . ( I'm heading out sat October 12 in the afternoon) Jim is still looking into a track rental for money October 14.
Btw I think it's hilarious you get 1.5's in the 60 foot on Crap tracks lol
