In my case I'm (1) new and (2) my car is basic AF, especially with some of the work y'all jokers have done on yours. I'm also the type of guy, and I'm sure there's others, where they wouldn't want to submit their ride until they're "done" with it, which, as we all know...is never!

My car is basic with just a couple of cosmetic additions. I took a nice pic and played, didn't expect a win.
When the votes went down I felt 2 things...
1)
happy: as an old man who had recently retired after a lifetime of hard work to see the ride I got myself as a retirement gift getting props.
2)
a good bit bad: because so many other members built super cars through investment of time and $$$, trail & error and had the track cred to back it up (ask me how I know about how much work that takes
)
In the end...it is part of the fun in this community to see the cars posted up each month and the smack talk about taxi's 4 doors, etc.
My hope is the guys with the built rides know...nothing but respect for their efforts and results. I haven't rocked in that world since the car attached below...and that was a long time ago. I relive those days by following their exploits here.
Would be a shame to see HFCOTM fade away as we watch the ICE muscle MOPARs fade away like they did many decades ago.
