Squeeking brakes in Tennessee

OK guys here's a strange one. The brakes on my Redeye squeek like crazy when backing down the driveway after the car sets a day or more. They only squeek when backing down the driveway. If I pull out it's all good. Any ideas? The brakes pads have less then 6k miles on them and the rotors are as smooth as a babies butt. The car never did this in Arizona for 3 years. WTF??

Perhaps the humidity in Tennessee is slightly flash rusting the rotors? Mine will squeak like that briefly after a wash. Never an issue otherwise, but its dry as hell here in ghetto New Mexico.

Yep, mine do it here in NW Ohio when it sits in the spring or if it's rained a lot. It is very dry here right now so no issues.

Nature-o-the beast on these 6 piston pad surfaces sometimes. There’s just so much of it IMO.

Constant thang in FL as well, light surface rust forms very quickly due to humidity & gets 'wiped off' with the 1st application of the brakes.

Flash rust?
Does it go away within a minute or two of braking?

I have gought alot of thangs in Tenn butt snot tat. After braking a few times suld queer it up. You live too close to da zinc plant,,, god I did. Butt tat helicopter pilot sura put tha brakes on me. You need to go fishin in da Cumbersum River.

Never had squeaks in NH, and we have every kind of weather you can imagine, if you wait long enough. But I do not back down a hill so maybe that is the difference?

Dis time of yea, it is really wet and cool in Clarkesville. I know I worked my ass off in da winta time in the snow thea. God did it snow. I went to bed 1 nite and told my room mate if it snowes 3 moe inches ovea night. I quit my job. It did and I quit. Took my Dodge Dart and drove er back to Chatt Town. Tat place is wet. Just surface rust and it comes right off wit a few hits of da brakes. Just no WD40,,oh boy.

Mine does it once in awhile. Like said, backing out and sometimes when I stop at the end of my road then nothing else. Only happens after it has been sitting over night

Nope. The wife's Durango gets that but not the Hellcats. I did find a thread here with some good information so I'm working it as my health permits.

A little grease on the pad will fix that bro. Had same issue with my Redeye after upgrading to Demon rotors and new pads.
