I'd like to know how these car manufactures are reporting "record profits" when they are only producing a fraction of the vehicles they were a couple years ago?

I can only say there are cars that people Daily drive that cost 3 Xs as much as my 1st house.

Vehicles built today have so much more technology to them.
The equipment used along the assembly line still needs a person to ensure it is working right.
I would imagine there are highly skilled workers who should be paid executive rates and are not. And why not?

Even the easiest job needs to be done correctly, but that doesn't mean executive rates.

Part of what they are striking about is they don't want Temp workers. Could the reason be, "WE" know about the recalls and wonder why does this happen?
