It has been a while since I have posted and I am reaching out for some help and advice.
A week or so back when we got home and shut the engine off in the garage I heard a noise.
Today, my good friend and mechanic Liam came over so that we could try and identify where the noise was coming from.
It sounds to be right in the middle of the supercharger.
My car being a 2015 build has already had a replacement supercharger back in 2016 as many of the early cars had IHI failures.
It sounds like mine has gone bad again with maybe 15,000 miles on it if that.
It runs a 2.85 litens pulley, demon injectors with an HHP tune.
I have attached a video so that you can hear what is going on.
If it is the supercharger who would you recommend that I go to for a replacement unit, bear in mind I will need to ship to the UK.
Would you recommend upgrading to the 2.7 litre supercharger ?

That sounds like the decoupling of the pulley on shutdown..
Take the belt off and spin the blower. Does it still make full boost?

yes, it still makes full boost. We have not taken the belt off as yet. The noise does sound like it is coming from the middle of the supercharger rather than the snout end

Probably the kittens pulley going. Make sure it doesn’t back into the snout and ruin it. How long has the pulley been on? If you’re hearing clicking it’s probably the fuel injectors

I have spoken with Josh at HHP and they have not come across this type of noise before.
The Litens pulley tends to either lock up as the clutch packs up or shears off.
I have been running this setup for over two years and it has not made this noise in that time.
First off we will take a look at the snout as the problem maybe in there and the noise is resonating back into the supercharger.
Anyone know what the supercharger weighs as I may need to ship it back to the states to get it repaired and my good friend James who can get shipping done at a very sensible rate has a 70lb weight limit and I have a feeling that it weighs more than 70lb

I know the weight is in here somewhere, no luck hunting it down, but I believe it's 102 lbs

As I'm watching the video clip, the clicking continues after the pulley has stopped rotating. I think its a good bet that the clutch in the pulley is bad. I had a litens on my car that failed after a very short time. I installed a griptech fixed pulley (2.72) no more problems.

well we are going to have to take the Supercharger off and our guess is that something has failed with the 8 pins in the snout.
I will update as we progress.
What spark plugs should I run as it appears the originals have been discontinued :(

Everything got so expensive, sucks. Not sure how long they're going to make them.
