So I got yet another KBB value/price alert today saying that the price had jumped up at least another 3%.



And this is also the first time that I've seen that they're valuing the M6 at a higher point (~$200) than the A8 too.


Same acknowledgement as before, I know it's just KBB, but I do think of it in relative terms, if they're saying a general increase in value, to me, that's worth something. At the very least, it's undoing the decreases that I kept getting from them last year.










EDIT: This is for a 4700mile car.

Was checking values last night for part of a net worth calculation and found that the Charger is supposedly worth 3K to 10K over what I owe on it. I can't believe that. Edmunds said 3, Autotrader / KBB said 10+.

Anyone trading right now should negotiate a little harder than normally. Ive been watching 2016-17’s at the wholesale level here in the Northeast. These cars are bringing top dollar at the wholesale auctions if they have less than roughly 10k miles.
Last Wed. a 2016 Challenger Hellcat M with 4500 miles brought $51,700 before the fees. Over $52k with the fees. Also a very low mileage 2017 Charger (1700 miles) brought over $60k. Insane.
So if youre in the Northeast and considering trading one like these, dont let the dealer BS you. Combine this with PD rebates and now is the time.

They cant be making much on these. Every time I watch someone overpay i just wonder where theyre going with it. Maybe just grabbing them for themselves or something. Really no meat left on the bone there.

I go to the Manheim High Line sale 4 times a year with my friend that's a used exotic dealer in WNY...lately clean low mileage exotics are bringing all the money..(almost full retail)...its crazy...to him its work..to me..I'm like a kid in a candy store...last year I almost bought a emerald green fire engine pumper with a built in hot tub...til my wife said my things would be on the front lawn...
