Will not work.

The cutout is too small and in the wrong place.

The LMI is massive and takes up almost all that space.

I would get a slab of plastic cardboard and make a template... then transfer the finished design to 10mm thick panel of carbon fiber. Attach a couple of angle brackets and bolt it in.

That would look sweet and have less heat soak, than an aluminum panel.

I read somewhere that LMI was working on a heat shield.

One for the Hellcat should work for the Redeye as well. Put me on the list for one of each.

Refining it, right now.

The LMI had some gel coat failure, from UV. Figured, while I have it out, to shoot some UV clear, I'd tinker with this.

Coming along, nicely.

Stand by...

Like 5 years old.

Already fixed it.

Just under the hood heat extractor, the tube was oxidizing (getting dull and yellowish). Now, in all fairness, my Charger is a daily driver and sleeps outside.

I ran an LMI airhammer, also carbon fiber, for 10 years and never had an issue. Also had one, on the wife's Magnum, without issue.

Talked with Chris and he said Scotchbrite pad and hit it with a good UV clear. He was right.

Looks snazzy, now.

Moving fast.

Need to get some right angle brackets, and a few other sundries, for the final product.

Oh... also, some CF board.

Czech it...

I want one too. I was actually thinking of doing this myself a few years back, but never got around to it. Love to see the final fit

Finished the rough final design.

Making a rigid prototype out of masonite, tomorrow, before I commit to a $100 chunk of CF board.

Moving right along...

I’ll take new mud shields too. Those units on mine look like hell and fit worse. You guys just have not seen it close. I tried everything and they just fit like crap. The screws necessary to keep them in place look worse.
