Has anyone installed a deeper gear in a hellcat with an automatic transmission over the typical 3.09 upgrade? If so did you see any 60ft and overall advantages in the 1/4 mile?

Your next jump is a 3.70 and I would be worried about it hooking. These cars make a lot of torque and you really don't need more gear. Put a pulley on and it will 60 ft a lot better also

Some that go to a 3.09 even start having to launch the car in 2nd gear.

If you want to go faster time to add power not gear down lower. You have to remember these cars are an 8 speed so 4.10s or 3.73s don't apply here like they did back in the day. If you want to add power lets talk.

Yeah that kinda defeats the purpose of a deeper final drive gear if you launch in a higher trans gear. Point taken.
