So... with nothing happening with the build until next week, I’m sitting here thinking..... where the hell is the Hellephant? SEMA is just about here and that means it will have been a year since all the fanfare. Has ANYBODY seen one of these things other than the one at SEMA last year?

The engine at SEMA was given to the guys at Grave Yard Cars. They are putting it in and old Plymouth for SEMA I believe.

They opened the order and X number of people signed up. “Sold out!” Then crickets. I have not seen one thing on FB or anywhere that anybody has gotten one. I expected that celebrities, TV builders and other connected BJ types would make up the bulk of the buyers and the first examples would be wheeled across the BJ stage for a charity thing. Nothing! Starting to look like the whole thing was just another BS hype deal that FCA is so good at.

I know. BFD! They had one custom built 426 on display that they did a huge dog and pony show with and said it was available as a crate. Where’s the crates?

Friend of mine is having Graveyard Cars do a ‘70 RoadRunner ragtop with one. Says the first batch was sold out but now they're available to order again. Says the car is about a year out from being done and should be featured on the show at some point. No idea if he actually has the engine yet but i dont think so.
