I'm not sure what kinda shape this is in. The price was right so I snagged it thinking I could use parts of it if the blower itself is too far gone for some reason. I was told it was a Hellcat blower but when I went to pick it up it had the Redeye logo on the lid so I assume it's a Redeye blower. History is unknown. Once I saw the Redeye logo I wondered if I could send it out to Jon Bond or Jokerz for a rebuild and have a 2.7L upgrade for GoMango.
It's 100% with all sensors, fuel rails, injectors, throttle body, bypass, etc.
I pulled the lid to take a look and saw some marks just behind the blow off valve. Nothing major but something happened I guess. Rotors look "ok" but have some coating removed and one of them is a tad rough on the edge. I could see no evidence the snout had ever been off based on the bolt heads.
Is this worth sending out or is it toast? Rotating blower pulley everything is smooth both directions. There might be 1(ish)mm of play rocking the blower pulley back and forth.
