What fluid do you guys like, including MOPAR?

Also, which friction modifier are you using, if not MOPAR?

Getting ready to do this and want to make sure I get the right stuff.

Mine was making noise & I had it replaced under warranty. Have not had any issues since. I insisted they add the friction modifier.

I have always been a fan of Redline. You can also get it with and without the additive. All the additive is for is to make sure the clutches don't chatter on turns. I currently have 75/140ns (non slip no additive) in with a little 75/140. Tried the thicker stuff to see if it would help to keep gear whine down. Don't think it made a difference. I have run the amsoil also and the bags do make it easy to put in

I have ran everything from mopar 75/85 to viper 75/140 to valvoline to redline and now...I'm on motul comp 75/140 - they all made noise with mine but motul made the least.

For FM I've used mopar and redline. Currently redline is in with the motul.
Even if it has the FM added already I usually find the amount added to be insufficient. Always end up adding a bit more.

I have a 2nd bottle of each fluid I've ran with extra FM added. I'll add 1 bottle with no extra FM (straight fluid) then top the diff with the 2nd bottle that has added FM.

I think the manual says every 12-15k miles. Toddy (BBG) recommends doing it every 4-5k. SRT says after every 4 hours of track time.

Like jonx96, I use Amsoil in diffs with good results.

I try to get the break-in crap out at around 500 miles, then check the magnetic level plug every now and then to make sure things are still good in there.

I put in Redline 75W85 GL-5 w/friction modifier, and then added a little extra Mopar FM to mine--it's been happy, no issues.

Owner Manual says INSPECT every 18k.

Only lists REPLACING every 48k, for severe duty ops.

Thanks, probably worth checking at least as I've tracked it a fair amount, no need to panic tho.

If you've tracked it, a change isn't a bad idea in my opinion.

The friction modifier only for clutch chatter. Makes it more slippery so it doesn't happen on turning but I'm yet to ever hear it on anything. Gear noise has nothing to do with it

+ Too much fm can result in one wheel burnouts.

I always think the least amount as possible. Another reason I like redline since you can get it with or without it
