You can see the entire thing it bent like someone pried on it trying to rip it out of the tank and broke it

Correct. I do not know fuel pumps. But it looks bent and a vertical scratch as though it was dragged out at an angle.

It’s not a scratch that’s broken plastic lol. Yeah, someone yanked it out. And not the person who did the pump swap, unless they pulled the wrong pump first which I doubt

I am not happy. But they have my car. And that is why it is a crap shoot when you give your car to a third party. At the same time I know there are plenty of good mechanics.

My car was running great. No fuel issues. I assume this now broken part will not affect the operation of fuel delivery. Correct?

Aside from the broken jet pump assembly which was likely them on removal it was probably just the orange float level cards for future reference if it happens again.

I would just like to know why I have to do this every 2 years like clockwork on average. Lol
