Welp, sad to say it… but my original 2015 factory battery finally ate it. Charger says it’s fully charged, won’t start car. It’s been a good run.

What are the good replacement options? I’d like to go lightweight, but really not trying to spend $800. So what other batteries are out there that are good (regardless of weights)?

Yeah I read yours but the arc angel is now up to $800+
There are threads on it. My 16 battery was done years ago

Very lucky you got this long a life out of OEM battery - mine only went 3 1/2 years with kid glove care. Optima Yellow Top is all I recommend if you can deal with the weight..

I still have my factory battery, but I only have 15k miles, I don't do a lot of short trips, and I periodically put in on a battery tender.

Bite the bullet and get the Antigravity. The re-start feature is worth its weight in gold. Never had a dead battery since installing plus the lowest CCA sold is 1400. They go to 1600 and 1800 CCA.

Weighs 15 lbs and its the same size as ur stock battery so no extra mounts to hold it down. Yea its expensive but what isnt on an $80k car that u want performance from.

Eh my car was in the $50s lol, in before the hellcat tax.
I’d say I got my money’s worth out of the old one.

I’m going with an everstart AGM. $179 and made by the same company as the duralastlast and diehard, just relabeled. 4 year warranty. I’ll lose some weight to make up the difference 😅

I'm using the yellow top one. It's lasted the longest out of the 5 different batteries that's been in the car.
I blame the cooling on the burnbox for killing them.

It’s 100% the burn box. Have had factory battery forever, get burn box and killed

And it didn't do a very good job cooling it down. Damn car would heat soak.

After it was tuned, things turned around with the heat. Tstat, adjusting fan speeds and turn on temps and the heat exchanger. Plus I think the ecm wanted to flood the engine with fuel when it got hot.

Walmart battery for the W. Fired right up and idling smoother than it has in a long time. Battery holding at 14volts no fluctuations. I know it’s just idling, but usually at idle it would fluctuate between 13.6/ 13.8

HHP screwed up and sent me the burn box 2.0 which is not for the hellcat. I still use it, it works, just does nothing else besides the line lock

Yeah, but you can set your suspension/trans settings for custom and hit the SRT button 3 times real fast and it’ll put all your custom settings on. I do street suspension, sport traction, and track trans
