This cage is what would be called a 7.5 prep. It will be certed for 8.5 at this time but when the car runs below that, and the 7.5 cert is required, then the funny car hoop and additional bars can be easily added. All the extensive work here beyond the basic 8.5 cert requirements are actually necessary to properly support the 4-link.

Not sure what they do elsewhere but out here they throw them away. All of the shops leave them by the dumpster and the “scrap guy” gets them. I was thinking..... but it’s a brand new drum! But then again, what are you going to do..... Ship it back to Indiana? It’s not worth that much.

there are three other legion of demons members that i know that have ordered them also and will race the crap out of them like me so we will be seeing these cars on the track were they belong
