Whats your thoughts on running a lightweight lithium battery over the stock lead acid? You can save 40+ plus lbs which would help ET, but would less weight over the rear wheels hurt traction at the track?

I’ve had one of the Arc Angle’s in mine for some time now. It saved approx 30 lbs and cranks the engine like its on steroids. Much stronger then the OEM. It’s a full size drop in replacement. I haven’t experienced any downside and it has a 10 year warranty. A stock lead acid battery doesn’t last that long so what’s to loose? 9BA942FC-25FE-4C9B-B35E-487B24ECFB39.jpeg 8B154C2A-4E23-4448-8B6F-8D7CD04E2CC1.jpeg

^^^ I have the same, & traction is the same even with less weight in the back, these cars are so heavy so can't hurt it with less weight.

Well went to the Mopar event here this past weekend. DCR lithium battery installed and front pass seat removed. Best pass was 10.86 @127 w/ a flat 1.6 60ft (1600 DA). Traction was not much of an issue. B976EDF1-A4B9-4986-ACEA-6AAEF1F4DA53.jpg sue. IMG_4336.jpeg

I have Arc Angels in both my Hellcats. Light weight and crank hard with a 10 year warranty.

What did you guys do about the mounting plate? I've heard some trim and some say a longer bolt?

I had no problem mounting mine. I’ve heard others did. Strange.

The batteries are awesome . ( the arc angel anyway) I had to trim the mounting plate a tad and elongate the hole . You could always the mounting plate from a cop car as it is shorter .

I was able to get the bolt started & tightened it down. Changed nothing.

Found myself on a Porsche forum reading about lithium automotive batteries. Spent some time reading comments about the Antigravity brand battery, they had a rep posting and answering questions. Seemed fairly safe and had a cool Re-Start feature. You get a little remote with the battery. When a low voltage limit is reached the battery shuts down to prevent further discharge. When you arrive at your car and it is dead, you press the remote and the battery wakes up and provides enough power to start the car. No need to access the trunk. Then I saw how much it cost. o_O

I too seen that battery . I researched as many lithium batteries as I could find for pros and cons . I found the arc angel battery to be the best to suit my needs for cost VS function . In my opinion the arc angel is great for a street car . For a race car the Cox racing battery or one of the anitgravity batteries would probably be better for the weight savings . Going fast cost money........... How fast do you wanna go.
