How bout some wheel porn! The beadlock vs not aside.... to try to move 4000 lbs 60’ in 1.1X seconds... I’m going to go with the beadlock. Dual beadlocks in fact. The move to the Strange 4-link is requiring new wheels to get the necessary 4” backspace. These just came in today... ☺️ FFEC26A6-8EEE-44B2-96EF-9CD18AF5F3B8.jpeg CD88F1E4-EB2B-4778-BB82-1F99E4373BD4.jpeg 5BB83CA1-947F-4FD2-B8B9-07D97A6D99EC.jpeg C70C9A4E-7A8D-415B-B4F8-014D1AEA5C3C.jpeg E49B7E85-2F37-40F6-BEB7-2C239AC8BA1A.jpeg

Some more pics just for fun.... Stinky is scheduled to go under the knife in December for the same setup, so I’m sharing this stuff we’ve been doing on Joes car. I wanted to do this since day one with my build but didn’t have any idea of where to start to get it done cost effectively and also know that it would get done right. I got my new rear wheels with the necessary 4” back space to work with the kit so I put them on Joes to check the fit. Perfect! And remember..... all my current rear end goodies are going to be for sale after the first of the year!!! 114EC32D-77E2-4735-84F9-5A01FF108FE3.jpeg ABFDA544-8C5B-42FC-A089-DDBC9A7229A5.jpeg D71C8CED-D1C5-4150-B2EF-71C3661B5A06.jpeg B45D0CC2-F18C-4576-807B-1ACE99015CB0.jpeg 5AE93C02-ABED-4E9C-A378-BB3B9C0FFF5A.jpeg DCA35666-FF7D-434D-AC63-627F8E903BEC.jpeg

Dyno tires!!! Can’t use the slicks on the Dyno so me and Joe split the the cost of a set of these M/T Sportsman’s to use on the rollers. They are the same 30” diameter as the Pros for tuning. 02A05977-CB67-4FFF-8C47-484B771079A2.jpeg A5B6BD27-78FF-456E-AC06-06C4858BB37C.jpeg 65126BE8-FE1B-49E3-B3F3-A670CD78EB4C.jpeg

It sure is purty once completed . I'm curious to see it at the track . You will have to put a go pro under stinky so I can get a groundhogs view of the suspension working when launching the car .

Placing this 4-link requires removing the fuel tank so a 15 gallon replacement goes in the trunk with a external Aeromotive fuel system. 99E305AE-070D-48AC-A024-A4D786656774.jpeg CBCD70CC-B9F4-40B0-BE59-5A58C0D6356E.jpeg FF2C2924-559D-429D-A98B-1EBEB970FD55.jpeg

We’ll have to do that. It’s amazing how spacious it looks under there with the fuel tank and the cradle with all that associated stuff gone. I’m guessing there’s close to a 300 lb weight loss. Once we get the car on the scales again we’ll find out.

I noticed that! It does look roomy under there with all that stuff gone . It is curious what the weight saving is if any .

Oh there’s a ton of weight difference! Not just in the cradle but also replacing the huge stock fuel tank with that aluminum one that weighs like 5 lbs. Plus you know how we have to run a half tank of fuel to keep the fuel pressure where you need it on a run? Not with this sump fed external system. You could run 3 gallons in there and be plenty. That’s 50 lbs right there!

That fabricated rear end is super light. Light in that you can just pick it up. Another really big example is the axles. Those gun drilled Strange units are 40 spline (huge) and hollow like a gun barrel. They are not only unbreakable but so light you can twirl one like a baton. Pick up one of your DSS pieces and you might hurt your back doing it... 🥵 04274578-0D8D-402C-ACB9-23438883BF86.jpeg E65A56A7-CCD7-4E3F-BED8-43B81D9048B7.jpeg 184391F2-2CC9-4B38-BBA5-9A4185CD68B8.jpeg 12AF27CC-2803-48AA-9DCB-55ACD16D1D1A.jpeg

Strange has always made top notch stuff . Again I'm patiently waiting for the results of these mods on stinky .
