Demon Comparison.

At Famoso with 42 passes on the car 808 HP and +550 DA the Demon ran 10.24 @132.46.

At Sacramento with 5 passes on the car 807 HP and +75 DA the Super Stock ran 10.10 @ 135.86.

Both cars had a very similar weight/setup at the time. Same Battery, fuel, seat config, similar wheels etc. Advantage to the Demon on weight slightly and it had a lot more learning.

My 10.106 run later in the day was in good DA. Near zero. But I am geared up a little with taller rear tires. But I took around 175 pounds out of my car. So it's really hard to tell. I suspect a showroom stock full interior car at +1500 DA will run the advertised number of 10.50 @ 131. This would be with decent prep and a lot of practice rolling the throttle down on the launch. With this car they did not release a record time for it. They released an "expected time" that most could achieve.

Wow, two .05s, an .07 and a .08 ! To run that close to 9 seconds without going under 10.0, either you're running a computer or you must be a computer yourself! That's some good consistancy! Good going!

Got 13 passes in yesterday. Put up a 10.15 @ 135.99 mph in +469 DA on the first pass and was able to get a 10.18 in +1400 DA. Nothing was optimal because I was competing in the Redlist race. ET's varied from that 10.15 to 10.25 except 2 passes it spun. It's still hitting 2nd gear hard! I'll take that. Still has an occasional 2-3 minor hiccup that does not seem to slow it down much. That 1-2 is much more important.

Now the car will be set on Kill for TX. It will be very interesting to see what it does on the LW Wheels & Tires with the 1" shorter rear tire. If it still makes the 1-2 shift I will be set.

Curious if this has the Demon suspension or the Red Eye suspension? I think I read that you said it is the same as the RE but can't find the post to confirm.

It has Hellcat Springs and Sway bars and Hellcat Shocks, NOT Demon. I could tell within the first mile when Driving it from the Dealer after Delivery.

Good info Ron. What do you think is helping the 60' if not suspension? Programming maybe?

I am not following you. I do not think this car 60 foots that well. I am sincerely hoping it improves some. My Frostbite Car had done 1.408 sixty foot and did a 1.41 1.42's and 1.43's in the 31 passes I made. But I have not run this car at Irwindale so maybe it's the way the timers are set up.

I have no proof of this but I have heard if the car goes pass after pass with no knock it will add timing to the tune. Maybe that will help as well as different tracks/prep. The Demon's definitely seem to do this. For this reason as long as Irwindale is not running weekly Thursday nights I think this car is going to be a trailer queen and have good gas in it.

I have not checked the back since I assume it is also Hellcat. I did not think the RedEye had a specific suspension. I assume it is the same as Hellcat.

A mid 1.4 60' is pretty good to me considering the best I've ever seen is a 1.48. I guess it's all relative LOL.

I don't see how the tune would add timing absence of knock. The timing table is static and other than modifiers, like knock, ect, iat, etc it's gonna be what it is. If you get a read of the PCM/TCM on the Super Stock and wanna send it to me I can do a compare against other stuff I have though.
