Pulled the SS Trigger !

Yeah after tossing the decision around for a few months I decided why not !

I placed the order on 3/25/21 and received the VIN on 3/26, unfortunately the plant is currently in shut down mode until 4/19.

Even at 75 years old I found the Super Stock too exciting to resist.

I have to admit all the post and responses from DRAGRCR about this model were beyond inspiring, so thank you Ron !

My priorities were different on this car, unlike my previous Hellcats which were "loaded" I kept things simple with minimal options. I wanted the car as factory light and affordable as possible. I've had ALL the "bells & whistles" on my previous Hellcats and honestly won't miss any of them ---- except maybe the Blind Spot Detection ?

No plans for any significant mods other than:
Swapping out the front tires with Nitto NT555-G2's.
Swapping out the brake pads with Z23's.
Sto-N-Sho front license plate bracket.
ZL1 Rock Guards.
Expel film behind the rear tires and forward side of the rear wheel flairs.

Congrats Rollieman. I'm looking forward to pics when it shows up.
I wish I could justify doing the same. Up here I priced a wbre with only the blind spot and whatever else that comes with. Unfortunately no pricing online here for the SS. Seeing it is likely a few grand more I just can't do it. At sticker the wbre would cost me a little less than I bought my cat for. That would require me to trade in my cat for that upcharge. That would be $72k with tax and I paid $68500 plus tax for my cat.
So unfortunately not going to happen.😟
I will have to be happy with what you all post about them.

Sounds like a great build. If I had to do it over I might go back to Frostbite. I like the Hellraisin but it's just a little too weird at times.........

Hey Rollieman congrats I"m 69 years old and just received my 2021 SS..It took me 15 wks to get it but well worth the wait.Some people have knocked the SS. But having a REDEYE before i don"t see any difference in the ride and handling of the SS vs the REDEYE..Now i haven"t gone wot yet but i think it sounds a little better and shifts much quicker. Enjoy your car it is hell waiting for it .

Until now I wasn't even aware any 2021's have been delivered, and thank you for the review which sounds encouraging ! That machine will keep you young, although at 69 you're still a kid from my perspective ! Congratulations !

I don't know Ron, Hellraisen is an exciting color and I came close to choosing it. I have a good friend who just bought a gorgeous red Demon and SHE loves that color !!
