I think you missed the point of the Hot Rod article, Bob. The results they got are what you would expect to see with any synthetic, not just Amsoil. Seems you're really trying pretty hard to push a particular product, but that's your business.

When I owned my last 2 vettes, I used Mobil 1 like the owners manual said if not voided the warranty. Same as Hell Cats, different oil, but change every 6 months. H/C just uses a different oil. Use it till out of warranty then burn what ever makes your car happy. Mine has been weined on Penz oil and will stay that way. I have an extended warranty. Dooo cause. Fee oil changes,,, right, not free.

The point was not missed. If you would look at the testing data all synthetics are not equal.I'll try to figure out the other test. That showed the effect of oils on Ford timing chains. But take a look i'm always open to debate in fact thats what made America Great in the First place.

The dealer will probably say OH no it was the correct oil they just put the wrong oil on the invoice...

I watched dealer put in the right stuff in my Demon 0W-40 Pennzoil. I made a good-natured quip that I'm glad the right oil was in there, and dealership service manager added, "well if we put the wrong stuff in there you would know since an engine error/warning would come on so, given that, that wouldn't be possible"
