Just installed the JMS BAP EASY Install plug and play for our hellcat I did some research and there was no negative info on these that I could find A245EC99-B179-41DC-BA78-EC47E4CD2919.jpeg 726E7BC7-C26C-4C0D-8617-200991E2063D.jpeg

So like no cutting wires plug and play? That might be an interesting option. Is it boost referenced or how is it activated?

No wire cutting at all and it plugs into the fpcm and at the pedal it uses the throttle reference as to when to activate I’m setting mine to come on at 50%throttle and it ramps up from there to 100% when it’s wot I’m about to go make a couple of hits and log it to see how it does

ok I did some logs a few hits up to 6500 wot the fuel pressure will hold 90-92 psi
it of course brought the injector duty cycle down to where it didn't go over 77 and the fuel pump duty cycle never went over 72%,i believe its no difference from added pressure through the tune except your fuel pump duty cycle is going to rise up if not max out at times out when that is done ,regular driving the JMS doesn't turn on ,if it continues like it is im one happy camper

Could a BAP be used instead of bigger fuel injectors when just going to a 2.85 or lower pulley ?

I’m not sure but your tuner would know the answer to that besides the demon injectors are about the same cost
I would be curious how much fuel pressure the demon runs and if it uses the same pump

So are you gonna check your fuel pump from time to time to make sure you don't have any more rubber or coffee  in the tank any more ?

curt suggested the jms and I happy he did it doesn't have to have a boost reference like the kb and with the kb I would have had to buy the extra adapter to put a pressure switch at the supercharger meaning that ugly wire harness addition under the hood look ,the jms was a no brainer,, cost was about 100 more but for not having to run wires thru the dash ,I was sold also the fact that no negative found on the site

this is an old post I found about the stock pumps as well

Also, keep in mind that stock there is a hard 89% duty cycle limit on the pumps in both the hellcats and demons so if your tuner doesn't know how to open that up you will be limited to 89% on the pumps.

Man we need to teach you to edit a single post LOL

17.5 deg of ign advance on 93 octane? WOW

How is the throttle position wire connected? Is there a reference in the trunk or ? I've not been a BAP fan, but this plug and play deal is pretty cool.

I'm not familiar with the 89% limit on the stock pump. In the tune you can easily see 100% is commanded.

it jms comes with a harness that plugs directly into the pedal position sensor at the gas pedal I just ran it from the trunk under the carpets to the gas pedal it comes prewired everything connected perfectly the trunk looks normal no sign of the bap is showing ..also that 17.5 is race gas I still have race gas in it from the track .it runs 14.5 degrees on pump gas 93
also that quote came from injected engineering ,when you are seeing 100% on fuel pump its actually maxed out it shouldn't see 100

Good info. I'm curious on this fuel pump deal now. Mine's set to 100% about 40% sooner than stock, so in my logs I see Commanded Fuel DC% and it shows 100.
