Hi guys.

I have a 2016 with the wider brass monkey replicas (20x10.5 and 25mm offset) and nitto 555r 305 package that was being offered by some of the vendors back in the day when the wide replicas first appeared, probably around 2017/2018.

When I bought them, the tires came mounted and balanced and ready to go. So when I received them I installed them and went on my way. This set up completely transformed the car in a good way. The traction was incredible !!

I don’t remember there being any sort of vibrations when I ran them after first purchasing them.

Last year I started to notice vibrations coming from the rear at highway speeds. I inspected the tires and noticed that they were starting to crack/dry rot. Tires were 4-5 years old, my car only sees 2-3K miles a year of use and it is not garage kept. I put a cover on it in the winters and leave it in my driveway. I knew it was time for new tires.

I just had new tires put on yesterday, 305 nitto 555r again.

After installing the wheels yesterday and going for a short drive today I noticed a VERY slight vibration at highway speeds (80 MPH +). Around town it’s not noticeable at all. Now, I'm thinking about selling these replicas and upgrading to OEM 11 inch wide wheels to keep that brass monkey finish. I still want the ability to run a 305 Nitto 555r in the rear........the traction is way too good to give up.

Does anyone know if I can squeeze an OEM widebody wheel from Dodge in the back of my regular body Hellcat with a 305 nittto without rubbing ?
I’m assuming they are going to poke out, if so, any issues with hitting the quarter panels ?

the OEM widebody wheels will stick out like a sore thumb on a narrow body car. they dont have the correct offset.

Wow, you ain't kidding! To each their own. But that just looks off. I’ve never personally seen this setup on the road.

Those are pics of Demon/WB engineering mules testing without flares, but I'm sure someone is running around out there with WB wheels looking just like that.

you ain’t kidding, that looks ridiculous without fender flares.
I wonder how the little devil fender flares would look on with those OEM widebody wheels.
it seems like the wheels would still be sticking out past the flares.
anyone have pics of that ?

The Little Devil flares are perfect for aftermarket 11" (with a much different offset than WB 11") that just barely stick out past the fenders. It might look slightly better, but not much different than the pics above I'd imagine.

I agree with you 100%.

looks like I’m going to have to go aftermarket wheels.
I just came back from a drive and above 80 MPH I get the vibration.

im going to install my OEM brass monkeys in the rear and go for a ride to be sure the issue is the replica wheel and not something else in the suspension.

In case anyone is wondering what this looks like, I’m trying out the Lil devils with WB wheels. It actually looks great in person. The pics don’t do it justice. Once I get them painted and the ZL1flaps on, I’ll post more pics. In the last 2 pics you can see what the difference in poke is with no flares and 18x10 +20 Bravado Tribute and a 305/45/18 ET R vs the flares with 20x11 -2.5 and a 305/35/20 ET SS.

FYI:The 11” WB wheels will have 6.2mm more poke than the aftermarket 11.5” wheels that Phillips recommends. It wasn’t much difference so I wanted to try this first since I haven’t seen anyone do it before. It’s an aggressive look and looks really good in person as I mentioned.

@Hunter has some wider wheels and nice aftermarket flares on his Challenger. I don't remember the brand but I'm sure he can tell you and throw in some pics too.

That actually looks like a good pairing. Those are factory WB rims in that pic? Cause they don't seem to poke out as much as I thought and the Phillps cover them nicely but not too much.
Correct, Voxx Replicas using the same OE size (20x11 -2.5). I love how concave they are which is why I wanted to try them so bad. Plus FAR less money than a forged custom set.

Damn....that thing needs to be doing a big smokey burnout
Maybe.....
If it wasn't raining every day...
Have had over 80 inches so far this year.
Usually average 6 ft a year.
This is ridiculous.

Agreed.....IDK exactly how much we've had so far, but it seems to rain every other day or so. We did manage to get almost a week without rain a few weeks ago, but that ended.

Voxx Replicas with identical to Oem widebody specs, yes. 20x11 with -2.5mm offset. I will definitely post pics when I’m done. I’ll also be using the 20x10.5s +25 on the front with a 15mm hubcentric spacer, longer ARP studs and ET lugs. I haven’t seen anyone else run the widebody rear wheels with these flares so I figured I’d be the guinea pig!

@HellcatMatt how much space are you giving away on the inner side of the tire, against the plastic wheel well liner? Seems we would want that as close as practical.
