New Redeye has ticking sound?

Picked up my new Redeye Friday. I hear a ticking sound when I'm inside in park idling, in gear or out. Can't hear it when it take off because of the loud exhaust. Sounds like passenger side rear. Anyone else?

My Hell Cat is a 2019,90days old and yes I have a ticking sound barely audible. "SRT" tech says that pretty much normal for the 6.2.

I have it at times. Mostly when cold. Drivers side on mine.

I here it after a cold start and no I never hear it on my 2015 Hellcat Challenger.

Exactly. I’ve had the exhaust checked and it’s good. You only hear it at a cold start and not all the time. It’s really strange.

Basically at idle then it clears and sounds great here never noticed the cold start only, we like listening to that from behind the car. I was annoyed while it was new because the '15 did not do it. But, yes mine does it too. I have run my hand down the entire pipe, nothing, seems to be the way it sounds.

Let us know what they think. Unless something goes entirely to shit, they are not touching or even seeing mine. To me it sounds like it is pushing the actuators with the exhaust pulses because it is such a bad actor.

Many Gen III Hemis have the noise....Mine does, my 6.1 and 5.7 had it too

No, that is not it. We are talking about a noise that comes from the exhaust, UNDER the car. FYI I have a video of my current Hemi, and it don't tick at all under the hood.

My 2005 Viper had the same sound coming from the engine.I was told it was the fuel injectors. Never caused any problems or performance issues.I
Haven't noticed it in the Redeye.

Mine ticks from the rear passenger side almost likes it’s the exhaust. It also blew white smoke on start today.

If it's a Hemi, it ticks. My 2004 HD Hemi had a slight tick, my 2012 Power Wagon has a slight tick, and my Hellcat has a slight tick. All three have done it when the vehicle is first fired up. After a few minutes and the engine warms up, it goes away.

Okay, we are NOT talking about the Hemi tick some hear from the engine. Matter of fact, my Redeye has no Hemi tick. I have owned a '06 6.4L with loud Hemi tick, my '15 was negligible on tick, several of our eight Jeep's including my current 5.7L has Hemi tick, the Redeye has none. I posted a quick video in my channel a few months ago, because this one don't tick.

The OP clearly describes what we are talking about. MINE DONT GO AWAY AFTER ITS WARM. I listened last night after a pleasing drive with the car. It is probably as benign as a Hemi tick, but it is a noise that seems like it comes from the right side exhaust under the passenger seat maybe just behind it. It is not possible to hear it except at idle. But OP, mine is identical to your description.
