The gas station attendants aren't happy about stickers. One local worker in Rochester, NY posted on Reddit complaining it was too cold to scrape the pumps ..on a 20-30 degree day (Deleted since wish I could find a copy LOL) - Not the post but another attendant complaining

I've worked outdoors for years in blizzards/rain/wind storms you name it on Fiber-Optic contracts while hiking 10-15 miles per day with 20lbs of gear; 4 days a week - 12-15hr shifts. Standing under a canopied pump to scrape a little sticker off must be very difficult
Find a new job or dress for the weather. Job market is extremely hot right now...landed a new technician position which requires no travel out of state at $70/HR + commission on sales. Local small business with a Family-like atmosphere. No dancing with reckless distracted drivers anymore!!!!! Or working for a company which cares very little about workers safety vs. maximizing profits on sub-contracts. I couldn't tell you how many times co-workers/myself dodged being hit roadside with class 3 gear over the years. Every day was a gamble. They gave us $25,000 life insurance which was just enough to cover burial...Can't go into much more as I signed a confidentiality agreement sadly. All I can say is royally fuck that place. Two workers died due to their lack of safety awareness/training/communication on live power lines. They'll have to live with that but seemed like they could care less, nothing changed. Tragedy for the Family's involved...hope they sued for millions.
