You won’t say a ton of gains over e75.

about where mine has been. This week it was 85% though. I have only been using one station that is just down the road from the house

Awesome! I'm in the process of draining the tank, I have the OST kit as well as easy access to the fuel hat thanks to the seat delete kit and will try and get as much out as possible and run it dry. Then load up a baby e85 tune and get her dialed in.

What did you think of e85? Hard part can be the startup.

Hehe still working on it, had more 93 in it than I thought. Im swapping fuels tonight. Learned I cant use the OST kit anymore cause the BMR tank is in the way. Have to use a transfer pump from the back seat lol.

In other news, learned track mode pushes the IC pump a lot harder…

She was frosty. Imo im going to look at the tune and copy the settings to the custom mode.

No matter what you do you can never get all the fuel out. Only way is get fuel low and then a few gallons of the new fuel and get it low again. Lucky for me I can just pull from the rail easy. I load my flex tune for switching fuels

In my tune the track mode & sport mode is set to run the ic pump at the same speed.

LETS FUCKING GOOOO! First start not a single problem. Remember to reset adaptives!

I've attached the logs so any peer review is appreicated. Also is there a channel to log for inferred ethanol content or is that not a thing?

In my tune the track mode & sport mode is set to run the ic pump at the same speed.
I just made those changes too.

Trims are pretty far off. I'm assuming you've got a dedicated E85 tune you're working on there and the trims should be as close to zero like normal.

That is correct, e85 only. I was confused because the wb is report 1.0 but I guess that's because the car also didn't move so the LTFT data never moved. I don't want to flood the engine...

Your trims should not be that far off if you updated all of the tables correctly. Unless there was still 93 in there.
Only way to get inferred is if you use flex.

Fuels trims appear to be keeping it at one but something is off
edit they cant pull enough to keep it at one. something needs adjusted or fuel mixture is causing it

There was some 93 in there, I tried to get most of it out last night but there was still some left in the tank. Should I try to drive the car and get rid of some and get more e85 to fill in?

This is where flex is kind of nice. Yes I would just keep an eye on your widebands they don't go to lean or rich. Go 5 miles and reset adaptives drive home and take a look.

Went for a long drive and monitored AFR. Nothing negative or bad, drove to UPS about 25 minutes away. Package shipped. Got back in car, reset adaptives. The car feels much happier now and I think whatever 93 that was in the mix has sloshed around. I will keep filling up to try and get it as pure as possible. The log looks good too.

after swapping fuels in tank, it can take 5-10 minutes of run time / driving for the mixture in the fuel tank to hit the fuel rails on these dead headed fuel systems.

After a long drive it seems as if things have stabalized. I drove to Capitol to watch my friends race and drove home, on the way filled back up again. I also added some timing because the car seemed to be chugging along and it responded well. Running on pure e85 all the time I don’t have to worry about running 93. The fuel trims are not far off and could use some tweaking. Ill make sure to get lots of data and adjust, all goes well this weekend Ill be racing again.

Happy to report that E85 tuning has been a real treat, so much easier.

I have known people doing e85 15+ years ago. We have been fortunate to have it here at stations for a long time. I thought about using it on my 87 mustang back then but would have had to upgrade the whole fuel system so instead I went with meth which made my fuel system think it was bigger and was much cheaper. My '13 mustang was to the limit on 93 and I had the fuel system to upgrade it back in '17 to e85 but ended up with a '17 Daytona and my long awaited return back to Dodge.

This year I'm finally on e85. It has rained or been to cold 4 out of 5 Saturday for the track not to open. Had some 1/8th mile passes on a Sunday and the did run the car the whole 1/4 mile to datalog and the onboard time slip showed 10.3 @137 with the only change to e85. We will be out today for one more time before adding a pulley

If you have access to e85 it really is the way to go. I still hear weird things about it from people that don't nothing about it only what they have heard. My thought was from it being run on cars that were not compatible for it from the factory but stuff like that seems to linger on like changing your oil every 3k miles. And the smell, I love the smell of it:p
