Bit of a bummer, is my tire ruined?

Bumped up against a curb a couple weeks ago, didn’t think much of it - but earlier in the week I noticed my tire:

Flex Seal It.....should work like a dream........no no I didn't say that.

Sidewall chunks are bad and any drag radial with chunks or holes should never go down the track!

Years ago.....in a galaxy far, far away.......I used some Permatex black rtv to temp seal a sidewall scrub on one of the tires on my Ramcharger. I needed to buy a few days until the tire place got my new tires in. I had just bought the truck and there was no spare.

The guy at the tire place asked WTF happened, and I told him I just needed it to hold air long enough to get it to his place.

A friend of mine runs a Discount Tire shop here in town, his national search for 275/40 Michelin PS4s showed only 4 available, he put in a request for 2 and they are supposedly on their way from Florida but he said no guarantees until they actually show up! Hope all goes well...

For now (and winter isn't all that far away) I have four low mileage Pilot Sport AS4s left over from my girlfriend's Trackhawk. Reasonably priced. Unless I decide to put them on my Challenger.

And if this winter looks like it'll be a real winter (and you if anybody should know), I also have a set of Conti DWS06s that spent maybe 50 miles ob my Trackhawk.

It's totally fine. A couple of top speed runs are in order just to be sure though...
