Not filter related, but I installed Stahlbus valves, on my Cat. Not enough room, for Fumoto valves. Keeps things tidy, during drain ops.

Also, 67" RaceRamps. Never let me down:

https://www.raceramps.com/garage-service/ramps/race/p/rr-xt/

67" long. 10" high. Shallow approach angle. They also have an approach angle calculator, to find the right ramp, for you.

Not affiliated, with either.

Thx. I think I'll do this.

I will never understand why how much or little oil comes out when draining the cooler matters.

Personally, I wouldn't care if no oil came out, since it's the particles in there I want to get rid of, not the so much the oil itself.

By the way, for a better flush, drain the cooler before removing the filter.

Great thread and information. When I got my car they basically threw in 10 Mopar oil changes (think they were $60 each). I have one left and decided I'm doing the oil changes going forward. Went to local dealer here and they expensed my last Mopar oil change and gave me the oil and filter.

Any issues with oil cooler cover plate removal and reinstall? The tech who always did mine made it look difficult so I'm a little weary. I know brace with wrench while loosening oil cooler plug, etc.

Have a couple more months until oil change just trying to build up my reserves again after the move.

Appreciate all the info.
Late to this thread but try local Walmart for the stock Mopar filter MO-899 $7>$8, use to be $6 but it's cheaper than the dealer. I buy my PUP 0/40 oil at the dealer for $9.37, bought some this pass week.
I cut out a hole in the front belly pan to drain the oil cooler, it drains about 1/3 of a qtr. so I think it's worth it especially with the hole that makes it easy.

I have some ready to ship if you want one. Strongest plug magnets you’ll find. The engine one produces a magnetic field that covers the entire bottom of the pan. The Diff units are so strong they even collect stuff out side the Diff lol. I make them for manual and automatic transmissions as well. PM me if you want some I can make you a deal on a whole set as well

Yes

One of us even makes them....
