I had the front brace but was getting way to much gear noise so took it off. I wondering if that carbon ds would cut down the noise?

I felt like it was hooking straighter with the front brace and struck the tires harder. That's just me.

ill be taking it on a ride when I get home tonight. Noise wont hurt me if the car works as I want it. haha. I had no noise at all with the 2.62 with the cradle locked and both diff braces.

So it may help. My 2.62 were quiet when it was stock. I added axles, aluminum ds , 3.09s and front and rear braces and it has some loud whine. Took both braces off and still there but the front being off reduced it. I put the 2.62 back in and still have gear whine but less. So it has to be the ds or the axles. Figured it was the 3.09s but they were only some of it. My car is a daily driver so it matters a little more to me

My 3.09s has always whined like crazy. I bought it used so the guy probably sold it for that reason.

A lot of the 3.09 do but putting the 2.62s back in it still did it

Front did on mine but not the back. I took rear off and drove it with no change after taking off the front just to see

Changed the gear lube and added conditioner a few times and it made no difference.

Jon and I are thinking it could be the aluminum ds. He bought a carbon so I guess we will find out. His has some noise he would like to get rid of also

Mine was noisy with the stock driveshaft if that helps.

I think the long tube headers will get rid of any drive train noise😂

The 3.09's definitely woke my 100-150 up big time! we wont discuss the 60-130, spun to almost 80!

had a little more fun over the weekend. leaving off idle in 2nd. I think I have the right setup now. get that 60ft down to 1.3 and I think I get a new banner under my name.

that triple gecko mount would rip the trunk lid off before it comes loose.
