It's not completely uncommon that a vehicle that ends up parked in the back of a lot, be it at an upfitter or storage yard, gets stuck there for a while as other vehicles pile up in front of it.

And at least this one has remained stationary. That poor Challenger spent time in every lot FCA had available, some of them more than once.

It could also be that when it did get a train ticket it would no longer start, and got bypassed.

How do you track the location?

The dealer can see where a vehicle is once built, like in the example you posted earlier.

So I paid for the registration myself, the lady at the MVD will call the dealer, and at some point I should get a check for some $1,650.

Hey, looked up the numbers, and that check should be for at least $1,759.

That's a lot of gas for the 6.2s. Or anything else that needs it.

Alright, sort of an update.

During today's bi-weekly chat with the dealer he said that while the system shows the Durango to still be in storage it has been assigned to the correct rail yard. And that lately they've had vehicles show up that the system said was still waiting for a train.

In other words, he suspects that it's on its way. So it's possible that it'll arrive on 7-1, when the incentives have expired.

Yes, it could be done (now after the fact), but of the three colors available at the time, white was my choice.
Besides, since white is technically all colors, it already is Octane Red, and Diamond Black.

Did make an attempt at changing to Vapor Gray when that became available, but it would've been a bit of a production these days. Have already pulled enough strings to get the order in the first place.

Uh, oh. Possibility of hails storms at the storage yard today.

That could potentially create a slight delay in getting the Durango.

I'm not too worried about that happening to mine. After all, it's three months behind on any updates, so it may still work.
If I can keep it from updating, that is.

Good news. The $1,750 off has been extended through 9-5.

Now I can only hope that the car shows up by then. Or that they extend the Bonus Cash again.

I'm getting more and more concerned about replacing my 18 with 23 after seeing all of these problems people are having.

I posted elsewhere, but my issue went away, it was a setting I had inadvertently triggered. I've never liked that the radio (and when I say radio, I mean the 'entertainment system') comes on automatically when you start the car. There is a 'Radio Auto on/off' setting and I set it to off deluding myself into thinking that meant the radio (my definition) would default to off. But FUConnect views the ENTIRE head unit as the 'radio' & so the screen was black at start-up. I reset the setting to 'on' and it's now working (mostly - still seems to pop up a random screen & not the last one I was on or Home) upon start-up.

Supposedly the car came off the train on 8-3. Hopefully it was driven off, and didn't fall off.

Looks like I need to humbly retract all the bad words I've used to describe the Dodge tracker.Turns out it is more truthful and influential than I thought.

With the car unloaded at the train yard on 8-3, I fully expected it to arrive at the dealer two days later. Every one has got there in two days...except this one. Why?

Because the tracker said 8-11, not 8-5. So they painstakingly arranged for a 8-11 delivery as promised. That also means that two of the dates on the tracker were correct; the order date (11-30) and the estimated delivery date.

I have a newfound respect for that fine web site function.
