I’m talking Dodge corporate/Stellantis, not the dealer. Stellantis has been paid by the dealer for the car already, so unless the dealer somehow forces them to buy it back I don’t think they’ll be out anything.

Stellantis is responsible for the usability of the car. If you take the car back, you'll be stuck with it no matter what.

In my pea brain opinion, run forest run and don't look back. It will never be right.

I ordered a Charger from a dealer that has far exceeded their allocation. I was told that I had a 5% chance of it being built. Estimated shipping date is 8/1. I think that "you're not going to get one" was extremely overblown.

To give them some credit, less than 24 hours after that went up I had an email from corporate and a few friends that work for or closely with the company received a total of 7 phone calls about my car.

Seems like they’re trying to get it resolved.

No. It's because of Mopar Insiders and they have a large online reach. Trying to save face. Put some good PR out there that they tried to fix it.

Pretty childish comment, nothing like kicking a man when he's down. I completely empathize with his situation of having his last model year dream car built to his spec, only for it to be plagued by electrical gremlins prompting the return of his vehicle...
