2019 Redeye Supercharger Bearing Failure at 2k Miles!

11,500 on mine and the sc definitely has a “hellcat supercharger” whine to it at idle. Nothing crazy but louder then when it was stock. I baby this car and rarely go WOT.

Not a redeye, but I have noticed an ever so slight whine (bearing noise) that I do not remember when brand new? Now at around 17,000 miles. Oh well...I enjoy it and consider the supercharger a wear item.

7500 mi on RE, car was built last wk of Oct 2018 for 2019 MY. No issues YET still sounds same. I don’t baby it, but I don’t hammer it constantly to point of what I would think is abuse. Drive it as it was intended.

Contact SRT and open a claim for each issue and problem solved. If not request a buy back option or a new Redeye

You may want to check to see if your extended warranty actually covers a Hellcat, tons of people have gotten their money back when they found out they weren’t covered.

They can bolt in a new supercharger in a couple of hours 100% on warranty. I had a pulley basically fail at 4K miles, replaced the SC with a smile.

I had the EXACT same noise and they said it was normal...I ended up sending it to Jokerz to be ported and have ceramic bearings put in....I am FUMING right not

Bonerville, guud alti dude. Mine at 1,500 smiles, had da fuel rails, cata lick pervert turds, fools pumpsterds, and an ass load of utter stuff. Replaced 3 times ovah da next 8 mumps at da dealershits. Luckly, tank guudness, thay had an Deemun, HC, Viper machanic and saw da monufactoies respuncance bilities. He called dem and an engineer whom wanted 2 cum 2 da grouper cap of Florida in Janurary. Frum NJ, itmagine dat? He came down 3 times and wanted 2 know why dis new car waz code en. Me 2. day blamed it on stock fools rails. I new watt it waz. Aftah wurkin on deez cars cents da 70s, I nuu. Snot 2 take a great wurkin cation frum an engineer frum NJ in Jan. I had 2 take off da K & N air intake and replace itster wit da stock 1. He wood rite all da labur and parts off on warranty. Glad I've had 2 utter vehicles. Down time waz awful, out cum waz good. Hope yourz is da same.

My 2020 non-RE was built 12/19. The ring gear/starter pinion failed at about 700mi. Other than that, no probs for 14kmi. Fingers crossed.
