DETROIT -- Union workers at Mack Trucks went on strike Monday after voting down a tentative five-year contract agreement that negotiators had reached with the company.
The United Auto Workers said 4,000 unionized workers walked out at 7 a.m., adding to labor turmoil in the industry that has ensnared all three big Detroit automakers.

Funny you mention that...when I took delivery on my 16 H/C...first thing I did was take it home and put it on the ;lift...the under side was spotless...did the same thing with my Demon...the Demon looked like it was run on the Bonneville salt flats...spent two days steam cleaning the underside...either the upfitter or staging lots must have been heavily salted...the underside was a mess...every nook and cranny...spent days detailin it...but I'm overly anal

Like nothing I've ever seen...not just salt residue...but caked on in clumps...everywhere...I've lived my whole life in the Northeast...never saw anything like it...

The Demons were being driven down town Detroit between parking lots & upfitters
Snow rain salt etc
1 place they were in was a total shit hole
Once they were ready to ship they were sent to Mack Ave

The cars were stored at Mack ave Assy plant where the 3 cars burnt due to a "truck" fire

Well you could find out your 170 has been built then hear it was stolen from the lot. You would think they could do a better job of moving the cars then letting them sit outside for awhile
