How do I get into my trunk with the battery

Not sure whats going on here if im missing a joke. But if you're serious, hook up a charger or jumper cables to the power and ground posts in the front and try. I dont know if it will work or not but thats the only thing i can think of. Surprised it let you close it with no battery.

You can open the door without the window drop (ask me how I know this), you just have to pull it firmly but carefully & the window will 'push' the molding out of the way.
If you are really concerned, you could always run some silicon lube around the edge 1st to make it more slippery.

Had same problem with mine. Use the mechanical key to unlock the door and carefully open it. Even though the window does not drop it will move the rubber enough to open. Once inside the car fold the rear seat down and crawl in the trunk and pull the plastic trunk release to pop the lid. An alternative method involves using a plasma cutter to create an access port in the top of the trunk lid, but that's too time consuming for most guys.

He has a rear seat delete.

You need to put a charge to the +/- under the hood and use the trunk button.

Reviving dead thread, put a batter to front post but nothing is working. Car is dead dead.

Easiest way...Open door with key, pull hood release...get jump box or jumper cables and spare battery/second car...hook up cables to jump post points...go inside vehicle and push trunk release. It will unlock trunk and you are in!

I had the exact same issue a few months ago. I have like an erector set back there mounted to the car so I wasnt fitting thru that with bars and I have amps mounted to a board. I cut a hole with a sawzall and stuck a broom back there with a little hook and pulled down on the emergency pull lever and pulled up on the trunk at the same time. Obviously u need two ppl for this.

No that will not work when the battery cables are disconnected. Cant jump a battery that isnt there cause a battery with cables detached is the same thing as having no battery there at all.

Easiest way...Open door with key, pull hood release...get jump box or jumper cables and spare battery/second car...hook up cables to jump post points...go inside vehicle and push trunk release. It will unlock trunk and you are in!

Turns out my culprit was a tazer and mpvi 2 plugged in. Need that obd 2 cable with a switch. Under warranty thank god.

Pull the trunk release switch, in the cabin.

Remove the connector.

Apply 12vdc to one pin of the connector and ground to something like a seat bolt. It should pop the trunk. If it doesn't, hit the other wire, with 12vdc.

It's a simple 12v pass through circuit and will work, regardless of whether the battery is hooked up, or not.

usually when I work on the car I have a string going from the emergency release handle to the trunk into the cabin

Just buy the Antigravity Re-Start lithium battery. Never have dead battery again. Comes with remote.

Just call da redneck auto card shopz located in hell. 1 shot frum a 12 guage to da ear shield will due da trick. Take da strang and catch a blue crab wit it. I due understand vaacansea proplembs, but dat is about stupid. Well snot da placement but da application of assceptable wayz to wurk on da critter. 1st time itster happened 2 wa, I wuz pissed. Trunk release won't apply, own erz mau well, burn it. Send a small dody thru da vary small hole thru da trunk frum da back seat. What? I am 6 footer 2 at 212 lbs and have snot reproduced. Dees idiots. Go frum da hood and hope youz get da right jumper parts whore else youz burn up a whore's nest or cumputer. Wayz 2 go guys.
