I see voodoo math, 68,600 is not the base price, that's for a base Hellcat now. Then there's $15k for the redeye upgrade, another $20k for the Demon 170 upgrade, so that takes it to like $105k for the base. Funny how they list the automatic transmission as an option for $3k too, um well what else are you going to get? Older Demons had much more honest window stickers.

Lakeland Dodge called me this morning talking about all 6 of their Demon 170's are available for 100k over. Hell of a deal

Keep in mind there've been price increases that happened in August to most of the Dodge lineup that are yet to be explained. I think $14K on the 170? Maybe more than that on TRX?

One thing I don't understand is why the $14k charge for Widebody. So two flares and wider wheels are $14k? Is something else included for widebody cars?

Agree. It has been said there have been issues with the wheels, and at that price point will that small rotating weight savings be worth it. We will find out and time will tell when these cars hit the tracks. It’s almost a given that Ron @DRAGRCR will find out what tire/wheel combo works best and it’s net ET difference. For the OG Demon he is one of the most determined and race proven backed with data comparison folks out there. No question he will continue that trend with DC170.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for too many of these hitting the dragstrip. You're going to see them at car shows and auctions in my opinion.

Let’s be a little more specific. Torred Zero option Demon 170 that touched down very recently. We shall find out.

Edit: Zero option means I guess no Carbon wheels, but I think he will probably get his hands on a pair if not only a loaner to test. Fair enough to say.

With respect to pricing, everything has increased quite a bit lately, it’s crazy. My local dealer is getting two more redeyes in last minute short notice, they showed me the build sheets. Keep in kind these are regular body cars:
