A dealer has 3 170s and is asking 55k over sticker so seeing more dropping prices. There were many looking for 50k over a month ago and I'm sure some bought a car. Its also strange how some dealers are asking set amounts over instead of a straight price. I'm sure the 3 that dealer has all have different msrp but why not just list them for 170k each. One may be more the 55k and one may be below but at least a round number. Hopefully they just sit there

Going to have the opposite issue then with the 70 superbirds that sat on lots because some didn't want them and I'm sure they were discounted. The 170 will sit because of the money wanted. I believe there are still some new 18 demons sitting at dealerships

You could buy a new 2 year old super bird for $2K. Some dealers were taking the nose off in an attempt to sell them.
I remember looking at a Dodge B200 sitting on the back lot around 76-77 and next to it sat a new one, never been titled. Probably could of picked it up for pennies.

Prices are definitely dropping over here
Interest rates are a huge issue if you are borrowing
Uncertain future with all this BEV shit is escalating
All the BEV shit we are working on is dragging / delayed
Dealers are being force fed BEV shit they don t want in order to get cars they do want
Manufacturers are being pushed to be emissions free by idiots
The hybrid / ICE is pushing ahead & there is now a huge gap in the new product chain
US election

I m trying to get my hands on a 2024 F150
Good luck
2023 s all over unsold

Its going to be an interesting year in the Auto sector

None of this is surprising. As I said many months ago, when it was clear most of the cars would at come out all at once in a flood starting in November. MANY cars would be flipped for whatever profit could be made. No doubt many of these guys are ECSTATIC to get a measly 10k net. With 3000 made this dynamic was inevitable. The time to buy is now if you actually want to keep one long term.

I also said that this lowball window for the D170 WILL close. Be it 6, 9 or 12 months from now. Once the levered smallball flippers all go away.

The EV wave will continue to take hold (sorry wishcasters who don’t want to hear it). Supercharged v8s are already dead and the legend of the d170 will continue to grow as more and more crazy wheelie imagery surfaces and incredible 1/4 mile times are shared (see legions of demons 6 and 7 next year).

The Ford GT went thru a brief $ lul too and look at them now. Let’s be real. This insane drag purpose car should never have (logically) been built. But somehow it was. Buy one now/soon while the prices are as low as they will ever be.

How do these dealers have inventory if the vin matched MSRP cars haven’t even been delivered yet?

3300 cars were sold at MSRP or below if you review the paperwork the dealers submitted

Why I keep saying all those buyers should have lawyered up when making the deal. Sure most of the dealerships lied to Dodge so the buyer should have a good case

I hope the dealer is changing the oil every six months. :ROFLMAO:
Wonder if they take them to Barrett Jackson every year and try to sell them?

I edited my post above, all are between $214k-$222k.
I have been compiling a registry of sorts on an Excel sheet of them that are for sale or sold recently, close to 250'ish of them for sale in the USA right now.......... my future car is out there somewhere.
