I was supposed to be at the NMCA Bowling Green this weekend, but after a BEAUTIFUL week, the rain moves in tonight. I'm pissed.
So, here's my first outing ...not setting any records but I'm pleased for first time out. Car's for sure the real deal.
Car's fast. Trapped 147-148MPH so I got a good one. I struggled foot braking with tire spin on TNT prep, so I tried the trans brake and it's a game changer. Pulled 300 ft/lbs and it hooked and booked. Knowing I can tune the car for conditions was a HUGE relief, similar to GoManGo but this one I can do it on the fly in the staging lanes. Sweet. Drove about 200 miles round trip to the track and back.
Now to work on the 60'. If I get that dialed I'm golden.
@DRAGRCR if you have tips to share I'm all ears. My typical track conditions will be minimal prep and 1500+ DA.
Passenger side tire seems good. Driver side moved over 12 inches on the rim. I've gotten it re-glued so hopefully solved.
I'm shocked it ran so well with such a slow 60'. PB achievement badge. Car in the right lane was a full on race truck and he beat me by a car. If only I had a 60'.
