Yesterday at a stop light another challenger hellcat pulled alongside me and asked why is my hellcat badge facing up? I said I think that’s the way they put them on in 2016 and he said his is a 2016. When I got home and looked at it and compared it to pictures of others hellcats, holy shit he was right. Does anyone else have b View attachment 9087 adges that are not positioned correctly?

No it was a year old with 3200 miles on it, it had a clean carfax and there’s no signs that the fenders were ever damaged or replaced.

ok, the car may have had a film ie; Expel, installed or the car was detailed or paint corrected at some point and the person doing the job just didn't get the emblem lined up correctly. Seriously doubt it left the factory that way but maybe.

Cut it off with dental floss, clean surface with wd-40, clean off wd-40 then reapply with double face tape. Simple. What’s the other side look like?

its easily fixed. Get a little fishing line and cut the adhesive. Position the emblem the way you want it and reinstall with emblem tape.

They pull right off.

Remove them & use some 3m vht foam tape to put them back on... or leave them off.

If there is any residue, you can use Goo Gone, or Naptha to remove it.

I was gonna reply that sometimes people do un-reported minor repairs to avoid a Carfax report. Which doesn't necessarily mean somethings wrong with the car. But both sides?? That is kinda strange.

The black one looks tilted more forward/downward than the original. Just a hair and it doesnt really matter but it’s ironic in this thread lol.
Sure ok.. 20191222_112411.jpg

The monroney label for my car said black badges, but it came with silver. The replacement badges had a foam piece that made aligning the new ones easy.

Put the foam outline over the OE badge, mark the line with painters tape. Remove old badge, install new one.

Exactly what I did when I removed my stock silver ones.
