Thanks everyone! I'm really here. Definitely not overwhelmed by the warm welcome, haha. Busy week ;)

I definitely need to add some pictures, but
waiting until the rain stops so I can get out and wash it.

I think the biggest difference between the one I bought and the standard 392 is the yellow and silver stitching, the seats are black suede with yellow SRT on the seats, and yellow 392 decals on the front quarter panels. Oh and can't forget the matte honeycomb racing stripe 😂

I'm a Harry Potter nerd so I bought a window decal that says "Expecto Petroleum", since I'm averaging 12.2mpg 😁

Welcome to the forum. A showroom cold start is what sold me on my Hellcat, too. Hard to resist.

Lots of smart people (and a few smart-asses), here. Ask away.
I wish I had been recording it. That was something I would have posted.

Being a smart ass is sometimes the best way to help someone remember 😅

Thank you!

Hey everybody,

I just got my "last call", 2024 Durango SRT AlcHEMI last week, and so far I haven't found anything I don't love about it. Other than my 11 year old lab has a hard time getting in the back.

The last Hemi I owned was a 2009 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L. I thought that sounded good, until they turned the SRT on, while on the showroom floor and it blew my mind, haha. I couldn't say no at that point.

I'm sure I'll embarrass myself with how little I know, but I've always found forums to be the best place to find information.

Right now, I'm reading through the owner's manual, which is only available online, but I think the first couple of modifications will be practical ones.
Welcome from south Mississippi! Sweet Durango!

Very quick wash, I didn't clean the wheels, and I realized that yellow calipers look dirty a lot faster than red ones.

Think he voted wrong too?
I did and then it took me 3 minutes to figure out how to unreact 😅

The 392's sound is what put me on a one year journey to find mine.

My Explorer ST with the FORD factory tune was equally fast, but the sound just wasn't there.

As far as mods, did you get an extended warranty? I did, so my current and only mods are my Dodge All-Weather Floor Mats. Lol

I was actually looking at the Explorer ST and and I liked the speed and the gas mileage but you can't beat the growl of that 6.4L V8.

So far my only mod has been all weather mats too, haha.

I didn't get an extended warranty but I don't want to void what I have either.

What other mods are you thinking about?

I rolled window down the other day and all the dew dripped all my arm and in my lap, so I'm thinking about some rain deflectors.

Are your stripes silver? I like your 392 badges better than my decals

Welcome OP, and congratulations! We had an R/T TNG, and traded it for an SRT392 and I've never looked back. My only "complaint" is maybe that we don't drive her enough. An awesome, epic machine IMHO, and i thank God every day for our blessings. :)
