Old post but the Raptor Bronco has the same 3.0L as the ST Explorer
And the Ford tune nets it 450hp and 535lb-ft of torque!!

Raptor also weighs a solid 1,000lbs more too
Someone just informed me about a class action lawsuit on the 2.7/3.0 Ecoboost:

Ford EcoBoost Engine Problems Cause Class Action Lawsuit
Ford 2.7-liter and 3-liter EcoBoost engines have intake valves that cause engine failures.

Those engines had issues way back when I was fighting with Ferd over my '15 Roush Mustang. Most of the forums dubbed them 'EcoBoom' engines.
Interesting, but not surprising, that they apparently never fixed the problems - the old exploding Pinto gas tank 'mindset/fix'

As I mentioned before on this forum, my previous vehicle was an Explorer ST with the factory Ford Performance Tune.

It ran low 13's, got ~20 mpg, and still retained most of its warranty. The only reason I traded it was because I wanted a V8.
