Thanks for clarifying Mark. I guess if a tire hooks well for you there in Ontario, it should hook just as well if not better here in slightly warmer SW Ohio. Trying to decide what I want to replace my rears with for street use. Stock Pirelli summers pretty much toast after 4K miles of total blast. I am all over the MT Street Rs for the strip and have been running those on Demon OEs. Looking at going to 305 17s on Billet Specialties 17" Win Lites. Not sure if it is beneficial to pay double for the single bead locks or have my rears re-balanced after every track event (Free for life of tire at my dealer). Going to put Hoosiers on the Billet Spec. 18 X 5" skinnies I recently bought for the fronts. The Hoosiers look to be half the weight of the MT SR fronts. Do you think it is better to go 315s for street or track, or both?

Researched and found an answer to my question, M/T does not make a 20" S/S in a 315.

I don't buy/try enough tires to have a particular favorite, but I have to say that the nitto 555g2's on my bird are a fantastic all around tire. Admittedly she only puts around 350 to the tire, but when I come off the clutch hard (but controlled) she hooks very well on the street, sticks like crazy in a 180, and ride decently and quiet. All this on the street, and once warmed up. Cold or wet..........forget it. But I don't take them out in inclimate weather anyhow.

I Just put the PS4's (rears only) on my car a few weeks ago. I have only about 100 miles on them since we are on lockdown in IL, but just in that short time they are a world of difference better than OEM tires.

Im really enjoying the Michelin PS4 on my camaro, they are sticky as heck!!!

On the rear of my Hellcat I really liked the nitto 555r.

How wide of a tire can you run on an OEM wheel for a narrow body Hellcat (20x10.5) ?

That is my combination now. Just had the 20" SSs mounted that I paid for last year. Love the way they grip the road and seem to float with current 60 degree temps here in SW OH. ET Rs on the track, last Thursday TNT new PB at 10.31. Temp only 49 F or so.

Hey Mark - Had MT SSs on all 4 corners for 300 miles, rears look like they are chewed up by a cheese grater. Ever seen this? Discount Tire is ordering me 2 more as replacements but will have to see if the new ones do it to.

Yes mine did the same thing. It may be from getting them too hot with high air pressure but I am just guessing. They are not meant to be doing burnouts or a lot of spinning with regular street tire pressures. Just my theory.

Balanced four Toyo AT IIIs today.

Only two of them had the yellow marking to indicate the heavy spot, and didn't need them. And, almost as usual, the two with the most weight had the lowest road force numbers.
