I watched most of yesterday and it sounded like they WISELY negotiated a rain day at the beginning and end for this year so they could slide the actual track days backward or forward as needed. Great idea if you can get a track to do that for you. I'd have loved to have gone to this. Just too far for this time of year.

Sunday and Monday were alternate race Days. We chose to race Thurs, Friday and Sat. This was decided before the event started.

Twisted my driveshaft on my 1st pass Thursday morning. Car only made it 30' off the line and my weekend was over.

Man, that reminds of when I first started racing my 2015. We called that the "Twizzler"

I could look in to putting something together at Beech Bend in Bowling Green, KY if there was enough interest. I ran ChallengerFest there for 15 years and it just got to be too much, but a rental is doable. Would probably be a pre-pay type deal with a set number of folks.

No, anything around an event like that is a fiasco. Those events typically rent the track for the entire week with semis, vendors, etc in the pits starting the week before.

This would probably be a random weekday in spring or fall for good weather.

Not yet, still fighting them. They said there was a dent in the shaft in the pics the dealer sent them so they are saying "outside influence"

I told them the car is stock and that is BS. Apparently a supervisor has taken over the case since 2/17 but i have yet to hear from them. Every time i call to talk to someone it goes to voicemail then it says they cant receive messages and hangs up on me

I paid out of pocket to get the car fixed since it has been at the dealer for 40 days. I picked it up today but will continue to fight with them. If they decide to cover it i will ask them for a refund.
