Redeye WB vs NB

I think I understand that the REWB has suspension tweaks with stiffer roll bars, etc. Can someone who knows outline some of these changes and whether they are only on WB, or both.

I have a standard Challenger HC, so yes I understand and agree. Just trying to be clear about the comparison re: suspensions. Pretty sweet deal locally on 2019 standard body RE. Just considering anything I might be missing by choosing it vs WBRE.

Some get triggered when you say "narrow" body. But the only reason others say "narrow" is because there is a wide body being sold. If it makes you feel better, call it a "regular" or "original" or even "standard" bodied Challenger. There's better things to get upset about honestly.

Aside from what was mentioned about suspension tweaks and anti roll bars (new to me) on the wide bodies - I don't think there was a whole lot of other changes. Having owned both, I can tell you just those changes alone with the bigger tires/wheels really do change the way the car rides and handles on the street. My '15 Hellcat was great on long trips, but I think this wide body will be even more nice if that's possible! I'll find out this summer....

Spring rates are supposedly different in the WB, other than that, no differences in suspension parts.

Yup and what people forget is what they call a widebody is not a widebody. Its fender flares. You don't slap fender flares on a Dodge ram and call it a widebody ram. You don't slap fender flares on a jeep and call it a widebody jeep. Marketing wording gimmick. Fender flares don't equal a widebody but what do I know? After all I have a narrow body.

No I could do the same in my Dodge Ram. I could bolt on flares get wider offset wheels. Doesn’t make it a widebody.

This would be a true widebody ram




The regular sl 65 would be regular body and the black series would be true widebody.

Challenger and stupid vette next door are having a fight for room. I am having work done on the H/C but when it gets out me and the vette idiot are going to battle. I have 4 weeks till I move again with a 2.5 car garage. I drove vettes for years and didn't act like this dumb ass. Going to be a couple bad weeks. But,,, there is a huge difference between the two cars. He is on the hit list when I leave this camp. List is growing.

I’m still trying to like the aftermarket-looking, Bushwacker truck flares on my Widebody. Sometimes I wish I had the standard body Redeye. Oh well, things could be worse.

To me personally some angles look good on the "widebody". Some not so good. I think it is because the side of the car has straight lines and the round fender flares don't really flow in a pleasing way to the eye in my opinion.
