My rock guards are held on with 2 bolts and 3M tape almost a year now with no issues.

Interesting mine didnt have those. Mine are the deluxe ones though so they are a bit thicker. I wonder if they have changed plastics maybe or something too. The 3M tape just doesn't want to stick to the plastic.

I had it done when the hood was wrapped. That’s the old school look. 😉

Like that rear diffuser on the granite....how difficult was the installation???
The 2 inner nuts where a bit of a stretch but overall pretty easy.

yup..the old AAR cuda hood...I extended the nose piece (18 T/A version) on my Demon..And HC...only problem it didn't match...if you can believe it..both cars were factory painted satin black hoods....drove my vinyl guy nuts finding a different satin black for each car..then had to buy another T/A decal as a template ...it took a month...but satin black...is not always satin black...

Thanks for the pointer, I emailed them yesterday after you mentioned that, and I am assuming I won't hear much until Monday since I think they were closed for the day by the time I sent it. Very Helpful! Hopefully that will solve my problem if they are willing to send me those....I think they will they have been pretty helpful so far, since they sent me new tape but outside of that I haven't had much other Ideas....I am wondering if maybe they forgot about the clips too hahahah I was thinking that the delux flaps might be too thick or perhaps that type of plastic might not work well enough with the tape.....we'll find out I guess.

That's the rear and a widebody though, mines narrow body and the ones I am struggling with are the fronts. My rears I had to clip out the factory rivets, 4 of them, the plastic ones and these mount to those holes plus one of the factory screws with a spacer. It comes with some like push in plastic things for those to be replaced with, but I went and bought replacement rivets that are the same as the plastic pop rivets from the factory to reassemble. The fronts just use the 2 lower bolts with the plastic nutsert things, and then tape from there to the top. It does flex the flap quite a bit to get it stuck in, which is why I think bending it a little before hand might help too, since the spring action forcess it away from the tape. I am assuming a single clip would go somewhere around the center of that taped section in that fashion, but that clip would go onto the fender itself, and is that painted or will that clip rust?

Molar Brand Mudguards are molded and are a better fit. They pop right in place. The ones you guys are using look like straight plastic. I used existing holes in rear and lower on the front. I did not want to drill the one hole in front fender so I used two sided tape. Not sure if they are offered for the fat bodies?

Try using a heat gun/ hair dryer to heat your guards and form them to opening, should help to reduce pull you are describing. Also 3m makes a high strength version of tape, look for "VHB" we used it on many slide out applications when building RV trailers and it never failed to bond.

Tell me more about those Molar rockguards and where to get them for our Challengers?
