Bob,
The 1st bike that had my 1st thru 4th knee operations was a 55 pan head, no not her name butt close, 2 years younger than me. When I rode with the boys it was man da tory to do trips. Kick start only and if retarted not correct, kick right thru. Ouch. Drinking or knot. Then the 73 super glide with electric start,,, damage already done. Then the 63 shovel- pan electric start added. Hard tail back problems alredy dun. Butts, damage dun but fun was had and knot forgotten. Like the vettes after 3 knee replacements,, can't get out of the damn thing. Fall in and have help to get the hell out. Still looking at that C-8. 1 moe year to sea the out comes. Better than and cheaper another,, you know what?? Penial exstensions.

Nah.

It's a 1956 California year of manufacture plate, with 1959 tag.

The car did come from Long Island, however.

I have a limo, ride in the back. I lock the doors in case I’m attacked.... I can’t complain, but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far.

sorry, could not resist. The kids probably have no idea what just happened.

A week ago I wasn't even aware that there was such a thing, but as of Thursday I can add a tunnel washer to the list of vehicles I drive.

Okay, "drive" may be an overstatement. I have yet to figure out the small forest of shift levers between the seats. But in the lowest range it'll supposedly do about 187 feet per hour in 1st gear. DSCN3378[1].JPG

Yep, it's a 406. A 406.121 to be exact. This one brought the total back up to six, and you can kinda make out the forklift/crane (HMMH) and one of the loader/backhoes (SEE) in the background.

These things are more addictive than blown 6.2s, I think.

I always wanted one with a radio box, on the back, to convert into a camper!

Love those things...

Bob
