Very few changes. Addition of memory seating is the biggest one. Slightly larger brake rotors in the front due to a pad compound change. Nothing worth letting it change a decision from one or the other really.
I think it is a California Compliance thing.........

Everything I can find, which isn't much, indicates that we're still at 390mm/350mm for the rotors. If you can find anything that says otherwise, please post up a link.

:)

Camaro not compliant too much copper

Copper is on its way out, not only in California, but everywhere. We're having to develop new compounds around this fact. (We have to develop new compounds anyway, but we have to stay away from copper)

Given FCA's history...It's my guess the SS is going to be a very formidable track car...(exceeding most buyers expectations)and a real hooligan on the street...If you have the means...go for it...take advantage of what time together you guys have...and don't be a stranger
Thanks bro- leaning in that direction. Just cashed out of some business interests so I have the means.... Regards!

more power from engine, sticky tires, proper size, BUT, unusable in rain wet drag radials, and breaks are smaller weaker, less stopping.

I believe you are correct...my rumors have now been retracted. A little blurry but it's there - 350x28. I read somewhere they were making them bigger but cant find it now.

Actually after rechecking the picture I posted, it shows 15.7” (400mm) in the front for 2021 as opposed to the 15.4 (390mm) for ‘15-‘20. I mistakenly only saw the same 350 rear.
Rumor back on.

Has anyone mentioned that top end on the Super Stock is also restricted? So that might matter if you want to do the one mile and above events.

Restricted to what, may I ask? Wasn’t the Demon also top end limited?

168 mph due to the speed rating of the drag tires.

Ahhh, makes sense. And even if you changed to 200mph tires, I imagine the engine governor can’t be removed or reprogrammed? Would a tuner do it? Thanks

Hmmm I really don't think its a good idea for "oldgreydudes" to be considering doin 200mph in anything...unless of course your @ 30,000 ft:giggle::giggle:

Yep but you would be tuning your warranty down the drain too.
