Everyone knows the dealers are submitting MSRP invoices for their allocations
How customers pay the up charge is up to the dealer and how they want to be mildly creative
I know someone that is paying cash for the upcharge
I m sure people on this forum know of other ways to manipulate these transactions
This is what you call the "honor system"
You can see how that works
What system is in place to stop the dealer from submitting invoices at MSRP & then charging the customer whatever they want when the car arrives ???
I m pretty sure Dodge is not tracking final dealer sale prices
Maybe there is a car salesman here that can shed more light on the subject
