2023 Redeye Rear Axle Ratio

Question: I need to find out is what rear gear ratio the new Challenger Hellcat RedEyes come with stock?
My order is in but I want the lowest available ratio. They offer a 3:09 but I need to know what it comes with stock. I still have time to adjust the order but I need to know what it comes with stock.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I don't think the sales guy realized that the higher numbers of the ratio meant the lower ratio of the gear.
I'll check with my contact back in Detroit to see if there's still time to get the order adjusted to the lower ratio.

I assume you did your research and know that the advantage of the 3.09 is questionable. I wanted the 2.62 for many reasons, here are 2:

I posted some info I had found from build your own car online in this thread. It matters if it is a wide body or not

Pretty sure you cannot order a RE with 3.09's now. I think it's JB + SS only option now.

I'm not convinced it will be any faster with the 3.09s. In theory I get it, it has to be quicker...but I dunno.

Two Hellcats side by side set up the same. For me it's always been 3.09 all the way. But you gotta get the car to hook.

Mine was .2 faster on average with a 3.09, stock.

It's simple physics, the lower the gear ration the more power gets to the rear wheel. That makes perfect sense to me.

Ron you know I'm a big fan, but to me that post barely suggests the 3.09 helps, and I was talking more about my specific situation being a redeye vs. the standard Hellcat. The redeye has torque reserve and more torque overall, plus the higher redline and power band further up in the rpm range, and many people have 1.4 60 foots with the 2.62s with a redeye, so again for the redeye I'm not convinced the 3.09s are any quicker. The 2.62s seem to suit the 6.2 HO motor well IMO.

3.09s are proven to be faster but for the $1200 is it worth it, it is up to you. I currently have 2.62s in my car and the 3.09s were not much faster through my testing. They may go back in if needed to get that 8 second pass but for someone that doesn't drag race, I wouldn't bother

I was able to change my order and ad the 3:09 axle ration option. I just wish they had made it clear that it came stock with 2:62s. Would have saved a lot of confusion. They should have called it the "Super Track Pack" option
