I was scrolling through my screens yesterday and noticed this. How is that possible?(that it's logged like that, not that I did it). For one, I don't ever remember setting up a 0-60 timed run. And two, the cars on full stock all season rubber and it's still pretty chilly up in the NE. So why would the computer log something like that?

Have you reset the timers since you picked it up?

One of the other ones that freaks people out is the topspeed is usually at ~192mph from the factory.

That's my only guess...

Either that or you got a Unicorn... :p

This gives me an idea, what if...I put my car on jack stands and ran the timers? Bet I could get some good times...and probably fall off the stands and go through the front wall of my garage...still thinking about it..

With all the info these cars computers log now to compute everything I didn't think it would be a simplistic single reading.

You would think.
My Scat showed a 1.2 0-60.

There's a guy who posted a 2.5 0-60 from his stock Scat Pack Charger. Probably a glitch or tire spin.

3.2 is a real 0-60 on the street. 1.2 is a rolling burnout. 2.6 to 100 is part of that same burnout. Followed by a real run to 100 that got me those numbers in the Charger HC.

I wonder if something changed at some point. My 2016 will not read a burnout in the timers. I read somewhere that reading was from the front wheels.
My speedo reads burnout speed.🤷‍♂️
Maybe the newer cars get the timer info from the rear now or the output speed sensor maybe.(ds speed)

From changing the front brake rotors and looking and looking again, I do not see anything that could be a speed sensor on the front. However, the "tone rings" on those back axles will provide the magnetic signals to the device to read speed, or the computer will say screw you real quick. Plus that cradle has a real large electrical connection to the mother ship.

You would think there is something on the front. How else would the abs work?
I was just speculating because I know my speedo is affected during the burnout. Yet my timers don't read stupid stuff like 1.0 time for 0-60.
