Found it. Sure must be/could be. Right into the wheel, and the center hub of course sound.

What else can I go out and do? This shit at home is getting old quick. You guys need any more explorations? So it could be back or front. I noticed when I spun up real quick it put a stupid number in the 0-60. I reset it.

Then they have the magical little microprocessor looking gizmo on the wheel well wall. That and the lead from the back of the wheel go into the electronic off limits areas for me. Pretty scientific huh?

This gives me an idea, what if...I put my car on jack stands and ran the timers? Bet I could get some good times...and probably fall off the stands and go through the front wall of my garage...still thinking about it..
I thought the system also referenced front tire speed / rotation as well? So you can't just power brake the car and get a monstrous 0-to-bullshit-60?

Clip the wire, then go test in the garage and driveway.

No sorry, not unbolting those wheels again until we trailer it south. Plus I can't afford to burn up any of my rears. I still don't know if that line lock button works or not!

These cars don't like to run//move without all the sensors working...

My 0-60 reads 1.8 I think??? I think the speed timers are based off the rear wheels which would make sense considering how easy it is to manipulate them with with wheel spin. Considering the high accuracy of the distance timers, they must be based off of the front tires.

I'm thinking something changed. Maybe 2019 model year with the timers. My 2016 a friends 2017 as well as what I have seen from hpindy's timers on his 2018. They all don't give timer numbers of any kind during a burnout.
Hmm... @Markp what do your 0-60 timers read?

I think mine came from a rolling powerslide/burnout while the car was going forward.

I was scrolling through my screens yesterday and noticed this. How is that possible?(that it's logged like that, not that I did it). For one, I don't ever remember setting up a 0-60 timed run. And two, the cars on full stock all season rubber and it's still pretty chilly up in the NE. So why would the computer log something like that?
Those on board timers are not always accurate. Even a broken watch tells time twice a day. What does your track time slip say?

I do remember doing one of my tire send-off burnouts, I was watching the speedo go up without a matching vehicle velocity. So even in ‘15 it was the rears.

Never been down a legal track in my life. Car only has 733mi on it now (got it end of December). But I can tell you the minute I broke 500mi I tested the line lock...It works. Lol.

Tracks around here are CLOSED till further notice!
Completely and entirely blows but I get it.
On the upside there are hardly any law enforcement officers cruising around so when the weather is nice....
But it's still pretty cold so no hook.
Eagerly anticipating trying to get this car to hook up on a prepped surface.
