Hey bud just put some vp octane boost in there when you do run it. Trust me on on this. Even a small amount like a 1/4 can goes a long long.
Pics look awesome.

Thanks I'll be sure to next time out. I haven't seen any signs of knock but agree, it's good insurance. I've had great luck with Boostane and seems to do the trick after several tests I've seen. Looks like 1/2 can of Boostane treating 17 gallons brings it close to 96-98 oct when starting with 91 or 93 at the pump.

I had boostane turn my cell light on. Vp has been my race gas since and autoparts stores carry it. I always get scared after I tune just because I personally didn't see the tuner not touch my knock tables.

So close but yet so far....

Another private rental came up last month I considered running. I was on the fence because of the weather so I never signed up. I was really hoping for some great -DA during Quick30 for my buddy Amar. This event was forced to rescheduled 3 or 4 times. What a nightmare.

I was planning to just to watch. Had a buddy call me late that morning to tell me there was an opening as his buddies Redeye was still in Florida so there was an empty spot. I called Amar and explained the situation and he said heck yeah come on. No prep on the car whatsoever, even needed a bath...lol. Went home picked her up and drove 3 miles to the track from the house. Tech'd in, brought the Nitto's down to 18lbs, drove around a bit to get all the temps up and started making hits. I pretty much found the limits of the Nitto's. Anything above 1500 rpms and too aggressive with the throttle it just lights em up. Having to just roll into the throttle at 1500 kinda sucked but considering it's a stock suspension w/ rear lowering springs (doesn't help my 60' for sure), full weight, 1/2 tank of 93 it still ran good. Definately needs some ET Drag Radials but still wanting to see a 9.9x on my Nitto's or R888's.

After several attempts, and the DA not where we were all hoping it would be, this is how it ended up. At least got a couple good vids too... Screenshot_20210204-204519_Messenger~01.jpg 146097758_5636288796397085_208994688079430586_o.jpg thumbnail_Screenshot_20210131-193429_HRP Slips~01.jpg

Decent pass with a modded Demon that ran some 9.40's that day. This was later in the day when the heat started to show. Made a couple back to back runs with temps around 80 degrees and DA around 1500. The mph dropped from 137.5 earlier in the day.

Killed him on the launch

OEM wheels looks like. What tires up front (assuming Nittos in the rear). Rears look way wider on film. Good fun!

Yes OEM wheels front and rear. Factory Pirelli's up front.
