I knew for decades that the world has been upside down, but I never expected this, a dozen eggs ($4.99) now cost more than a pound of shrimp ($4.97 raw 31-40 raw peeled & deveined)!!! Looks like I’m having shrimp for breakfast for a while, not such a bad thing!

BTW: Why are boneless skinless chicken thighs $1.79/lb while eggs start at $4.99/doz?!?!?!

Picked up an 18 cartoon last week @ $7.98

Lots of people have chickens up here, all over the place people have coolers on the end of their driveway and you take fresh eggs and leave the money. I never did it because they wanted $3/dz for fresh local eggs when the supermarket was $1.39. I don't know what they are charging now but I imagine they might start exceeding the $600/yr threshold the IRS is not applying to paypal.
